Crowns. Crowns work as artificial teeth. They can be added to the mouth in a few ways. The first is through the addition of a crown to a dental implant. The crown will be designed and styled to fit the mouth perfectly. Crowns are also very common when it comes to getting root canals. With these procedures, dentists need to get very deep to access the root. This can result in much of the tooth itself being lost and the structural integrity being compromised. The way to fix this is by filling in the entire compromised section and then adding in the crown on top. Each crown will be both sculpted and shaded to ensure the crown matches the rest of the teeth in the mouth.
